Pipe Relining

While we do the more traditional blocked drain methods – Pipe Relining is an effective way to fix broken and damaged pipes – without the need for digging up your yard.
Relining drains and sewer pipes involves inserting a pipe liner into the existing drain pipe. The liner then becomes permanently fixed to the surrounding pipe, essentially replacing the pipe from within. It’s 4 times stronger than the original pipe!
Guaranteed solution to fix your pipes.

FAQs
About Us
Where are we located?
Our head office is located on the Gold Coast. In saying that, our plumbers do not visit the office daily due to the nature of our business. This allows us to strategically employ plumbers throughout Brisbane and the Gold Coast to cover our service areas. We do this as it means we can have a plumber attend any plumbing job in any service area quickly.
We are also currently in the process of opening another office in Brisbane to make the experience more seamless for our customers.
How long have we been in the business?
The Director of Jetset Plumbing, Greg, has been in business for over 30 years.
Greg started his journey in Sydney back in the day. Then, in 2006, he was headhunted to run the plumbing for the Clem 7 tunnel that goes under the Brisbane River. On completion of this project, he decided he wanted to join the maintenance field and be of service to the people of South East Queensland.
Jetset Plumbing was born in a unit located in Queen St Brisbane and the rest is, as they say, history. Greg realised his passion for customer service early on and now it stands as the main value that drives the business today.
Are you a family business or a franchise?
Jetset Plumbing is often mistaken for a franchise because our trucks and vans are seen in so many places. However we are a family business and have no plans of changing this in the future. We believe that all of our staff and customers are a part of the Jetset family and we never want to lose that connection.
So much so that the foundations are already in place to continue supplying the best service possible with Greg’s four sons already taking on roles within the business.
Why do we support World Vision?
At Jetset Plumbing, we believe we have a responsibility to do our part in making a difference in our world. This is why we support World Vision.
The Cambodia Village is located in a rural area with a very humid climate. Most of the people are farmers, and having to constantly deal with the heat, poor sanitation, and poor hygiene often leaves them riddled with illness and suffering from exhaustion. Without the help of World Vision, many of the children are forced to stop attending school so that they can also work on the farms in these tough conditions. Our mission with World Vision is to build a library for the village so we can help provide access to education.
Also, thanks to our amazing customers, we are able to sponsor a child in Cambodia for each staff member at Jetset Plumbing. Our plumbers carry a photo of their sponsored child on their keyrings, as a daily reminder of the bigger cause. This is something our team is very proud of.
Scheduling
Do you work weekends?
We operate from Monday to Sunday, with plumbers rostered on both Saturdays and Sundays all day. We find this works best for a lot of our customers who work on weekdays. No matter whether it’s a weekday or a weekend, if there is work that needs to be done we will be there.
Do I have to be home?
This is entirely up to you. We have done thorough checks on all of our plumbers and trust that they can work either inside or outside of your house without you needing to be there. Compromising a customer’s trust is an offence we take very seriously at Jetset Plumbing and all of our plumbers know that your property and belongings are not to be touched unless work is being carried out.
Can you come after 3pm?
There is absolutely no problem with us coming out to your property after 3pm. We understand some customers may not get home until after 3pm so we make ourselves flexible enough to work around your busy schedule if there is a need.
The reason we don’t do this too regularly is because suppliers usually close by 4pm meaning we might not be able to source the necessary parts. This then means our service can suffer due to elements out of our control.
Can you come out today?
Usually if you contact us before 12pm we can organise a plumber to get to you that same day. If you contact us after 12pm there is still the possibility of a plumber getting to you on the same day, however sometimes our plumbers can get caught up on a job for longer than anticipated. In saying this, we will always do our best to get a plumber out to you as soon as possible.
What is the earliest start time?
Our first job is usually booked for 7am. We find if we need to use machinery this is a fair start time when taking into account any neighbours. If by chance there is a unique situation and we need to start earlier than we are happy to make the arrangements.
Can you do the work straight away?
Almost 90% of the time we are able to do the work straight away. Our goal is to always attend to the problem as soon as possible to take the stress off you. However, sometimes there are elements out of our control such as suppliers being shut or it being late meaning the job won’t finish in daylight.
Expenses and Warranty
Job rate vs hourly rate.
A job rate is the price given to customers before the job begins. This means that, even if the job takes longer than initially discussed, the final price will not change.
An hourly rate is based on the time it takes to complete the job. This often means sub performing technicians will charge customers more than your best technicians as they usually take longer to complete a job.
At Jetset Plumbing we use a job rate system. We believe that this is better for the customer as all expenses are discussed upfront, leaving no room for tricky extras.
Do you warrant your work?
We offer 100% warranty on all of our workmanship, and if any of the materials we use are faulty, we will also warrant them. If by any chance you are unhappy with our work or you wish to cancel your job, we are happy to organise a 100% return of your funds.
What are our payment options?
We offer a wide range of payment options to suit the majority. We accept card, cheque, cash, and payment plans such as buy now pay later and zip pay. We cater towards our customers and have found that one of the above options usually works.
How much will the job cost?
This is a difficult question to give one universal answer to as there are so many variables. Giving a price before seeing the extent of the job can lead to trust issues between us and the customer. However we do give the exact cost of any job before we start the work so you can feel comfortable in knowing what you will be paying once the work is done.
Is there a call out fee?
Jetset Plumbing does not charge a callout fee. We trust our plumbers enough to provide excellent customer service. We find this is what brings about 94% of our customers back again and again.
Does it cost more if you need to pick up materials?
The price given at the start of the job will remain the same even if our plumbers need to pick up materials. That is the advantage of a flat job rate. If you were being charged an hourly rate then the plumber needing to pick up materials would affect the overall cost as it takes extra time.
Is pipe relining expensive?
Pipe relining is nowhere near as expensive as having to dig up and possibly damage existing property just to replace a pipe. The technology needed to do relining work is cutting edge, but in our minds it’ll save you big time in the long run.
General
Can I request a certain plumber?
Absolutely. We love when a customer wants to request the same plumber they previously had. As a business, it shows that our plumbers are putting in the extra effort to meet all of the customer’s needs. These plumbers often get recognised as we believe in rewarding excellence.
Will I know who is coming?
Yes, you can ask the office staff for this information when booking your plumbing job. Additionally, you will receive a call from your plumber 30-minutes prior to their arrival so that they can introduce themselves and give you an idea of when they’ll be arriving.
Will you ring on your way?
If you are scheduled in for the first job of the day, 7am, we won’t ring prior to showing up. If you are scheduled for any other time slot during the day you will receive an introductory call from the plumber assigned to your job 30-minutes prior to their arrival. This is to ensure you have peace of mind knowing your plumber is on their way.
Do our plumbers come in uniform?
The uniform our Jetset plumbers wear has been specifically designed to stand out and be easily identifiable. Our plumbers all have their name on the back of their shirts, along with a picture of the Jetset van on the front. This allows you, the customer, to feel safe knowing who is at your door.
Do I have to go ahead with the job?
Not at all. We respect your choice to decline a job, however we do appreciate any feedback you might have in regards to our service. This information helps us improve for the next time.
Can you send someone experienced?
The majority of the plumbing team at Jetset Plumbing have had a minimum of six years experience in the field. They have an extensive knowledge base and will be happy to answer any questions you might have.
Do you organise the electrician if the job requires it?
Some jobs do require an electrician to relocate wires or heaters. If an electrician is needed, we are more than happy to organise one to do the work. In saying that, if you have an electrician you would prefer to use that is fine as well. Whatever works best for you is what we want.
Do you submit forms to the council?
Yes. We submit all of the relevant form 4’s and paperwork required for each and every job. So there is no need to worry as it has already been done.
Jobs and Supplies
Do we supply materials as well?
Jetset Plumbing has a great relationship with all of the reputable suppliers. Reece, Tradelink, Plumbers co-op, Bunnings, Samios just to name a few. So, if we need to source the materials for the job we are all too happy to do so. Let us chase up the materials if the need be, it’s our pleasure.
Do we carry stock on board our trucks?
The iconic Jetset vans carry stock for about 90% of our plumbing jobs. This is monitored on a weekly basis to ensure the vans are always ready to go. However, there are unique situations where the part needed might not be in the van, though 99% of the time our plumber will be able to source the materials from a supplier nearby.
Do you repair the leak after detecting it?
All of our leak detectors are licensed plumbers, which means you get the comfort of knowing they will be able to locate and fix the leak on the same day. We are a one stop shop.
What is pipe relining and can you do it?
We sure do. Jetset Plumbing is the pipe relining expert in South East Queensland. Pipe relining is a revolutionary new technology that can repair your cracked and broken drains without the need to dig. Our team has done extensive training over the years to make sure you are getting the best product possible. We back this up with a 25 year warranty and a free camera inspection each year.
Do you supply toilets or do we buy them?
We can usually source any materials that your job might require straight away. So yes, if it makes your experience more seamless and smooth, we can absolutely source a toilet for you.
What equipment do we use for leak detection?
For concealed, outdoor leaks we use Sewerin acoustic water leak devices. With these devices, a system of one hand receivers, microphones and test rods work to send shockwaves to a headset. These shockwaves allow our plumbers to pinpoint the leak. We also use thermal imaging, which we find is especially helpful in shower areas.
Do you do camera inspections for pipes?
Yes, we can do camera inspections for sewer and stormwater pipes. We have drain cameras and monitors in most of the Jetset vans, which we can use to report on the condition of the drainage line, or find any damages that need fixing. If required, we are also able to put these findings on a USB for you.
Camera inspections are highly recommended for anyone purchasing a new property as some drain damage can amount to tens of thousands of dollars.
